Dr. Anita Antwiwaa is an accomplished engineering leader, researcher, and academic trailblazer with over 15 years of impact in higher education, innovation, and institutional transformation. She drives forward-thinking strategies that bridge academic excellence with real-world technological advancement. With a PhD in Electronics and Communication Engineering and advanced training in communication systems, Dr. Antwiwaa operates at the intersection of cutting-edge research and societal impact. Her work spans satellite subsystem design, optical communications, the Internet of Things (IoT), space weather, and AI-powered climate intelligence positioning her as a key contributor to Africa’s emerging space and digital ecosystem. She plays a central role in Ghana’s space science advancement through the All Nations University Space Systems Technology Laboratory (ANU-SSTL), where she supports pioneering satellite development and capacity building across the continent. A Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Dr. Antwiwaa is also a passionate advocate for women in STEM, inspiring the next generation of engineers and innovators. Her excellence has been recognized through multiple awards, including Best Lecturer and her selection among the Top 50 Innovators in Education in Africa.
