David Owusu Korankye, Ph.D., is a Ghanaian academic and educator with extensive expertise in accounting, auditing, and financial management. He holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting from Valley View University in Accra, Ghana, where his dissertation examined the influence of intellectual capital and auditors’ independence on audit quality in Ghanaian firms. He also earned an MBA degree in Project Management from GIMPA and a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences (Accounting & Business Management) from the University of Cape Coast. Currently, Dr. Korankye serves as a Senior Lecturer and HOD of the Accounting and Finance Department at All Nations University in Koforidua, where he teaches courses in forensic accounting, accounting theory, and regulatory framework, while actively engaging in research and curriculum development. His research interests encompass accounting, auditing, financial management, and managerial accounting. With a strong background in education, he has over a decade of teaching experience at various levels, including senior high school and technical institutions, where he has mentored students, developed curricula, and contributed to institutional development. His skills include financial accounting, auditing, and research. Dr. Korankye is committed to advancing academic excellence and contributing to research that addresses financial and accounting challenges in Ghana.
